Day Tour from Fes to Volubulis – Meknes

We will pick you up after breakfast at your riad at 08:30 and drive to Meknes, the third Imperial City of Morocco. Meknes is known as "The Versailles of Morocco,” for its elaborately decorated gateways. We will visit the Bab El Khamis and Bab El Mansour, two of the most beautiful gateways, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We will have lunch here and then visit both the old and new Medina. Later on, we will head to the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterward we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city dates from the third century BC and is amazingly well preserved, including several stunning mosaics. We will deliver you back to your hotel in Fes in the early evening around 17:00.

Wonderful country, fantastic tour company!
We did a 10-day tour to Morocco and covered several places - Chefchaouen, Fes, Sahara, Dades Valley, Marrakech, and Casablanca. The trip was completely planned with pit-stops, local guides, and fantastic hotels/riads by Mohammed and the team. This is a family run, local Berber company and they far exceeded our expectations! We were truly taken good care of and every need was met. We couldn't have done this trip without trips to Morocco! Thank you!

Fabulous Trip To Morocco
We recently went on a private tour of Morocco with Trips to Morocco. The dynamic duo of Hamid & Ali did a superb job of guiding us through their country. From Casablanca to The Blue City of Chefchaouen, Fez, Daddes Valley, the Sahara & the wonderful Atlas Mountains and much more, we were so well looked after. Their choice of accommodation mainly Raids were of a high standard. The Sahara camping trip didn’t disappoint. We saw & did so much, even some of the long treks in the car were entertaining, especially Hamid’s upcoming wedding ritual. Trips to Morocco is a family concern & they treat you like family, even entertaining us for lunch in the family home. A very big thankyou guys for a terrific holiday.
