We went on a custom 11 day tour with Trips to Morocco and it was a fantastic experience. Mohammed worked with us to customize the itinerary to our interests, communication was great and all the accommodations were booked in advance so we had nothing to worry about. Our amazing guides were Djawt and Aziz, who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. We loved every minute of this trip, we always felt safe and welcomed and enjoyed and appreciated Moroccan hospitality. Every morning getting into the car felt exciting, with the anticipation of adventure and beautiful sights. Our guides were very knowledgeable, we learned a lot about the country, it’s history and geography and Berber heritage. It was our first trip to Morocco, but we will definitely be back.
All the accommodations we stayed at were great, but I’d like to highlight Palais Faraj in Fes, Heure Bleue Palais in Essaouira and La Maison Arabe in Makkesh which were outstanding and truly unique experiences.
2 days in the desert were our favorite part, such a unique and beautiful sights, camel trekking in the desert at sunset was unforgettable and the cherry on top was seeing a falling meteorite.
We had a fantastic experience, and it couldn’t be any better. I would give 11/10, thank you very much Trips to Morocco!
11 out of 10
We just came back from the wonderful two-week vacation, organized by Trips to Morocco.
Mohammed worked closely with us to tailor the trip that matched our interests and preferences.
We were met at the airport by our wonderful guide Mbarek and amazing driver Aziz. Both of them made sure that we felt safe and comfortable always. We learned so much about Morocco and always felt as a part of the family. They both speak English very well and we didn’t have any issue with the communication. It was apparent how they truly love and treasure Moroccan culture and history and how exited they are to share their knowledge with us. I liked that they were always available but at the same time gave us enough time to explore on our own.
After touring the Casablanca Hasan II mosque and staying one night in Rabat, we moved to Chefchaouen for two nights where we explored the city, went to hammam and explored some hikes in the mountains surrounding the town. The hotel Riad Cherifa was very good.
The next stop was Fes where we stayed for three nights. Fes had very big old town making it easy to get lost. But also it is famous for its craftsmen. This is where you can do the shopping for leather goods and other crafts. The guide provide by the company was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. In addition to showing us the architectural and historical highlights of the town, she also took us to try the street food, which we liked very much
After that we drove to Sahara Desert in Merzouga to stay one night in the camp and another night in the hotel. Both were excellent, right next to the dunes and very picturesque. Here we took a camel ride, went to market town of Rissani to see the bazaar & adjusted donkey parking and ate the “Berber pizza” , visited village and gardens with very intricate irrigation system. My husband and Mbarek even helped an old lady to cut the figs from the palm tree. But the most interesting was the visited to Berber nomads, where we tried their freshly baked bread with honey and date juice.
The next stop was Dades valley and very good guest house Dar Blues. The cook Fatima deserves to have her own restaurant. Everything she prepared looked and tasted amazingly. I hope one day she will become famous. During the drive we stopped and various interesting locations like Todra gorge.
From there we went to Ouarzazate on the way visiting nomads living in caves and rose valley. The riad here was located near village gardens and we were able to explore on our own.
The trip ended in Marrakesh where we stayed for three nights. Our riad de l'orientale was nice, clean, very close to main square and provided excellent breakfast. Our travel company here helped to organize the city tour, the Covid test required to fly back and transport to airport.
All an all the trip was wonderful, if you go, prepare to drink tons of mint tea and meet with many kind, loving people. Thank you Trips to Morocco for helping us explore your wonderful country!
Greatest Moroccan adventure
Our greatest ever 2-week Moroccan adventure, would not be possible without “Trips to Morocco”. Mohammed was able to provide an itinerary that fit our needs and was quick to communicate to over WhatsUp. Due to Corona Virus restrictions some of the hotel booking cam out at the last moment but at the end everything was settled nicely.
We cannot thank enough Mbarek and Aziz, our fearless and knowledgeable guide and driver. They were not just good, they were EXCELLENT!!!
They showed us the sides of Morocco which we would never would be able see otherwise: visiting with nomad families in Sahara and Atlas mountains, driving through The Desert and mountains using just directions, helping at the Sahara farm with dates harvest.
Mbarek ad Aziz went out of their way to ensure that our visit was comfortable. Riads and hotels that Trips to Morocco reserved for us were very good, some of the them like Dar Blues in Dades I would call absolutely amazing and unexpected gems, where you can find a haute cuisine for dinner in the middle of nowhere.
The highlight of the trip was visit to the Sahara camp and hotel Café do Sud in Merzouga, where we sleeping in the dunes, enjoying spectacular sunset and sunrise. I recommend staying there for couple of nights in the middle of your travel schedule to have a rest between visiting imperial cities.
We visited Roman ruins and Volubilis, ancient cites, and 17 centuries Kasbachs, 4 mountains regions, enjoyed street food and formal restaurants. At every step of the way our guide and driver were there to help us and were flexible enough to alter the rout to show us parts of Morocco that would be unseen otherwise.
Everything is great , and excellent services, recemmanded 10/10 , there is many beautiful places to visit, Amazing
Everything about this tour group was excellent.
From airport pick up to airport drop off it was door to door great
service. When I signed up for this vacation I had no idea that it would turn out to be a fabulous adventure with so many cities and sights and wonderful locals who gave us all an education in the rich history of Morocco. Informed, fun loving and incredibly attentive to any and all of our large group's needs, Trips to Morocco gave us all one of the best experiences of our lives.
Trip of a lifetime!
This trip far exceeded any/all expectations!! I will never forget my time in Morocco with this group. A wonderful balance of vibrant, bustling cities combined with the natural beauty Morocco has to offer. An exceptional value I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an exotic experience. Our group of 16 always had everything we needed, including delicious meals and very comfortable accomodations. Mohammed and the other guides were so knowledgable, informative, patient, attentive, and most of all FUN!! I can not wait to return to this amazing country and would not consider another venture here without Trips to Morocco.
The ONLY Moroccan Tour Company to Consider
A dear friend organized a group tour of 16 through Trips to Morocco (TTM). Honestly, fears of traveling in a minibus led by a guide waving a flag to gather us at each attraction crossed my mind. I couldn’t have been more mistaken. Mohammed accompanied us on the entire trip and designed a tour that showcased the gems of his beloved culture and country. To say that we were treated like queens is no exaggeration. From the moment we landed to the morning of departure, they took care of every detail without a hitch. Though everything was superbly planned, we were still able to make itinerary adjustments along the way.
We traveled in a convoy of SUVs driven by professional drivers/guides who are truly gifted in offering world-class hospitality, knowledge, laughter and the best music selection. This setup allowed for a more intimate experience. The riads (we took over the entire Riad Sara and Riad de l’Orientale), restaurants and local guides they arranged were also first class. And, I can’t say enough of our luxury camp experience at Dunes Luxury Camp, complete with hot showers, bathrooms and multicourse meals. TTM truly wants travelers to have an unforgettable experience and you can trust that they will take care of you every step of the way. I had countless moments when I felt pure joy and carefree and it’s all thanks to Trips to Morocco and the crackerjack team of Mohammed, Ali, Mbarak, Med, and Moha. I left a piece of my heart in Morocco and I will be back!
I felt like a family member visiting from America rather than just a tourist.
I have traveled twice with tour groups to Morocco, the first time with a tour group on a bus and most recently with Mohammed and his team from Trips To Morocco. The former experience pales in comparison to the latter. While I enjoyed my first trip I had no idea of just how much of Morocco I had missed. Touring Morocco with Mohammed engaged all the senses and Mohammed and his team of drivers/guides made this a journey of a lifetime. We were a diverse group of women ranging from extremely experienced travelers to novices and everyone had an incredible time.
At no time did we feel unsafe. We always had someone with us as we ventured out into the cities, medinas, souks and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the local guides chosen my Mohammed. Their range of knowledge covered history, anthropology, sociology, geology. They were funny and personable. Furthermore, they enjoyed sharing their knowledge and had remarkable patience as they were peppered with questions. Mohammed ensured that we saw the Moroccan spectrume of religions, ethnicities, cuisine and music. During our nine day tour we enjoyed a cross-section of regions and natural wonders; snow-capped mountains, dessert, river valleys and gorges. The tour included accommodations which were astonishing! Two riads, luxurious camping in the dessert and a hotel. We were taken to many restaurants and food venues, also all beautiful, which clearly had safe food handling procedures since none us fell ill. Mohammed and his guides were attentive and provided a very personalized experience. The ratio, guide to traveler was 1:4. In contrast, on my first trip I traveled by bus with 30 travelers and did not enjoy the same depth of experience of the Moroccan landscape and culture.
My vocabulary of superlatives cannot express how amazing, fantastic, awesome, fabulous, joyful this vacation was.
If you are considering a trip to Morocco - look no further for a tour guide! These guys are the pros you are looking for
I traveled to Morocco with 16 women on a 10 day tour of Morocco this past February. Mohammed, along with his co-workers, could not have planned a better trip or taken better care of us. Having never been to a muslim country I was excited but a little nervous too. Our guides were professional, knowlegable, flexible, dependable, organized, and kind hearted. Traversing our way across a country where the culture was so different and where not one of us spoke the language seemed daunting but it turned out to be the best trip I have ever taken. We felt safe at all times and learned and experienced the treasures of Morocco. They were so good I want to go back and do another tour and take my daughter and husband!
This trip was hands down the best vacation! 16 woman, 4 fabulous multilingual guides and exhotic destinations. Not to mention how delicious the food was. The Riads we stayed in were magnificent! Clean and beautiful. Mohammad who runs the tour makes sure everyone is happy and willing to accommodate where necessary.
